218. TEN New Years Resolutions that you've never followed through on.
1. To eat less junk food. Yeah, that never really happened because I love chips.
2. To bake less when I'm stressed out. That never happened either, I think I baked more in the last year.
3. To control my temper. Nuh uh.
4. Keep my parents from worrying. That didn't work either
5. To be a better organizer. Probably going to have to depend on Hiro for that one.
6. To keep lists so I don't forget things. I forgot.
7. To shop less. I can't be blamed for this one, there are a lot of birthdays. Plus weddings, babies being born and...cute things to buy.
8. To stop flailing. Sorry, Mols, not going to happen.
9. Stop being so sensitive. .....
10. To learn yoga. ...Never happened. I started running more though, supposedly I can run ten miles. >.> Hiro likes to exaggerate.

1. Kara is flying with Kory on their way to the Bahamas, when the older alien turns to the younger one and kisses her mid-air, floating as they hold each other for a moment before returning to their vacation.
2. Dick gives Kara a kiss on her lips that lasts only a moment, but she smiles because it's traditional -- right as the ball drops in New York City -- that perfect, romantic thing she loves.
3. In bed at night, Kory and Dick both kiss Kara as she kisses them back, all three of them a mess of tangled arms and legs while Kara feels loved and safe.
4. Boomer makes a point of visiting Kara, but only kisses her forehead even though she wants more. She's still a little bit flirty, but Boomer doesn't let her. Maybe he's grown?
5. In Gotham City, at Wayne Manor, Kara flings herself at Tim and kisses him everywhere she can to embarrass him totally.
6. A flight to Smallville so she can visit with Kon leads Kara to kiss Kon on the cheek because she's glad he seems so happy these days and happiness needs to be spread.
7. Alfred gets a kiss after he hands Kara a chocolate chip cookie, and she swears that he blushes.
8. After about ten attempts, Bruce lets Kara kiss the top of his head but doesn't say "Happy New Year" back to her. She's okay with that, though, because it's Bruce. She understands.
9. Kal, Eirene, and Zoe all get tons of kisses from Kara when she tells them she'll babysit so they can go on a date for New Year's. They get tons of kisses afterward, too, of course, just because.
10. Kara kisses Cassie, but not on the lips because boys are watching. It wasn't a romantic sort of one, just a BFF one and sometimes Kara doesn't know how to flirt or be "normal" around her friends. But a new year without Cassie and love is just wrong in her mind.

Turning to photography as a creative outlet during a valiant fight with breast cancer at age 34, renaissance10 survived and set up a photo contest to help raise funds for the Lavender Trust, a nonprofit that provides information and support to younger women with breast cancer.
